Rules for Visitors

Parliament Open Day is organized every Friday of the month  from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., intended for all citizens who wish to visit the Assembly building as a historical landmark of Macedonian statehood and a place where citizen’s representatives work.

If you wish to visit the Assembly, you need to register no later than five days before the designated date for the Open Day, using the electronic application form below.

In the application, please submit your data: name and surname, identity card number (for adults), residential address, e-mail and telephone number, as well as the name of the school or faculty for those of you coming as an organization.

Non-nationals who wish to visit the Assembly must submit: name and surname, residential address and passport number, no later than three weeks before the designated date of the Assembly's Open Day.


Duration of one visit is 60 minutes.

The number of persons in one group should be up to 40, accompanied by one or two teachers for those coming from an educational institution.

Registered visitors are required to be at the entrance of the Assembly building 10 minutes before the designated term to which they are registered and must carry a valid identification document.

Security employees are obliged to conduct security checks to the visitors and their personal belongings when entering the premises. Visitors should leave all personal items (backpacks, jackets, umbrellas, etc.) in the wardrobe before the start of the tour.

The Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia reserves the right to change the tour date or cancel the visit.

WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BUILDING OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA:

• Please respect order and peace in the premises, do not lag behind and do not stand out from the group;

• Participants are not allowed to leave the tour on their own initiative, except in cases of great urgency;

• Follow the instructions of the guide and the security staff;;

• Do not damage property and inventory in the building;

• You can take photos, but not video recording inside the building;

• Turn off the sound of mobile phones during the tour;

• Pay attention to the clothes you wear (inappropriate clothes include: sports equipment, shorts, mini-skirts, blouses with a deep neckline or without sleeves, slippers and similar shoes);

• Bringing food and drinks is prohibited;

• Smoking cigarettes in the building is prohibited

Failure to comply with any of the rules will lead to removal of the participant from the Assembly building.

The building of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia is located in the center of Skopje, at the following address: Boulevard 11 Oktomvri, No. 10.

Access for people with special abilities is possible with the help of a mounted mobile platform.

The Parliament building can be reached by local bus number: 3, 3a, 4, 4a, 5, 7, 7b, 16, 21, 21a, 22, 24, 33 and 41.
